What's New
The wall repairs at the corner of Abrams &
Royal are almost completed. The last
item is the installation of wrought iron
fencing along the concrete wall on Abrams.
Thanks to all who participated in the
fundraising effort and to the wall committee
headed by John Wisz.

The Northeast corner of Royal & Greenville
is currently in the process of being rezoned
for approximately 44 high end zero lot line
homes. Based on an earlier proposal by
the developer the homes would range in size
from 2,800 to 3,500 square feet and would sell
for approximately $325,000 to $425,000.
More information will be forthcoming as this
matter goes before the Planning & Zoning
Commission.

The OHHA has become aware of a new chemical
collection center in our area. The
city of Dallas wants us to use it.
It's free and it's close. (The next closest
one is down on Stemmons and pretty far
away.) It's called HC3, located at 11234
Plano Rd., between Royal/Miller and Forest
on the east side of the street. Hours of
operation are: Tues. 9:00am-7:30pm, Wed.
8:30am-5:00pm; Thu. 8:30am-5:00pm; 2nd Sat.
of ea. month 9:00am-3:00pm; and, as of June
1st, 4th Sat. of ea. month 9:00am-3:00pm.

You'll need to show your driver's license,
and they require a utility bill (phone,
electric, etc) to show proof of residency.
The OHHA will obtain a list of accepted
hazardous materials and post it to the Web
Page at a future date.
